A Festival for the Whole Family to Enjoy!

August 11th 2:00 pm to 2:00 am, Rockburn, QC

Wanting to make a difference in the fight against breast cancer, and to celebrate all the women in our lives, on August 11th, a special event will be held in Rockburn, Québec with proceeds going to the Québec Breast Cancer Foundation.

Breast Fest ’07 will be a musical extravaganza! Starting at 2:00 pm and going late into the night, five popular local bands will play under a big tent, at beautiful Arthur’s Orchard. Music will suit all tastes, from Celtic, folk, rock, alternative and reggae! Families are welcome, as there will be fun for the kids, including prizes, pony rides, cotton candy and a dunking booth. Local artisans will also be on site, displaying the finest arts and crafts of the region. Food and refreshments will be sold – we will even have a corn roast!

Tell your family and friends about this amazing event, and come by Arthur’s Orchard on August 11th (rain or shine!) for a great time for an important cause.

Breast cancer is the most frequently diagnosed cancer in Canadian women, accounting for an estimated 30% of all cancer cases. It is estimated that one in nine Canadian women will develop breast cancer at some point during her lifetime.

The Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation is committed to funding breast cancer research, promoting breast health through education and awareness and supporting people touched by breast cancer. The Foundation has awarded close to ten million dollars to the Quebec medical community for Fundamental and Social Science Research projects over the last ten years. In 2008, five million dollars will be awarded. For more info: www.rubanrose.org

Come and have a great time, and support an important cause!

We’ll see you at Breast Fest ‘07.
